Setting your intention for practice

These are some iterations of a that question I get a lot from students:

β€œI don’t know what my intention is”
β€œHow do I set an intention for my practice?”
β€œHow do I set my intention for the day?”

Please consider a different version of the same inquiry:

π–¦Ή What are you looking to get out of your practice today?
(some examples can be: inner peace, focus, de-stressing, strength, connection to source, steady deeper breaths?)

π–¦Ή What are you looking to create from this day?
(from this meeting, this relationship, this connection, this holiday... life.. etc...)

When you approach life (or practice) this way, you become the *source* of that which you are seeking. Your intention to look for the thing allows you to call-in and become the thing. Your consciousness has the power to shape reality.

I hope this helps, and that you begin to practice intentionality on your mat, in your day-to-day activities, relationships, and settings.

Please know that your practice is a great service to your deepest wellbeing, and to the wellbeing of all sentient beings visible, non-visible, and beyond.
